throwing

I’ve been throwing.

It’s hard work, and after a  couple of hours I’m aching, as I’m using muscles that I don’t usually use.  And as I’m having to think and react to every bit of movement in the clay and what my hands are doing I’m really tired after a session.  But eventually it will become normal to throw pots and then the brain relaxes a bit and the hands just take over.

Well that’s what happened when I was throwing on a daily basis before, and I could actually talk and throw too!

After the first day I ended up with lots of squashed clay in a bowl.

After the second day there was not as much clay squashed into a bowl, and I had some work to show for two or so hours.

Almost a bowl.
