not potting, but knitting…….

I have been published.

I have been published in a magazine called The Knitter.

It is part of an article about P/hop.

Regular regulars will have heard of P/hop before, or Médecins Sans Frontières – MSF (Doctors Without Borders).  The charity helps those who need medical care, such as the people of Haiti who had a disasterous earthquake last year, MSF were already there when the earth quake hit.

As their name suggests they are medical teams who go where they are needed, no matter where in the world.

And P/hop stands for Pennies Per Hour of Pleasure.  Many of us knitters have donated patterns for knitters, from sock patterns to childrens’ garments, to fine lace shawls, and the vast army of knitters who want to knit our patterns donate to MSF for the pleasure.

And speaking of sock patterns, my Ruths Harvest Socks pattern is mentioned in the article, as well as a photograph of my Cranford Mittens that  I knitted before Christmas.

I am pleased to be able to help in any way I can to promote this charity, even if you are not a knitter, click on the links, go donate…….
