The kiln sitter switched off the kiln at 4.15, and we had hit 1000° by then.
So we leave him to cool down and see what we can see in a day or two.
The temperature fell quite quickly for the first 15 to 20°, but then slowed down, so we are leaving him to cool him self down and not ramp down. Ramp down is to take the temperature down slowly using the power to stop the kiln cooking to fast.
Hilda does not need that as she is more insulated than Harry, but Harry seems fine.
A few more bisque firings in Harry then it’s glazing and Hilda takes over.
Then for the decal work it’s back to Harry.
Such fun we potters have!
