I’m really enjoying spinning with my new wheel, the Bliss from Woolmakers. She’s built by Louet, so has a good pedigree.
I have just got some gorgeous fibre in beautiful colours, and I’ve ordered some dark brown in the same fibre to go with it.
The fleece is Corridale, which is a wool I’ve not tried before.
I have also ordered some white, grey and black Shetland fleece. I’ve always wanted to knit something tonal, and this seemed the way to do it, make the yarn to exactly what I wanted.
I’m hoping the yarn will be nice enough to show on my stand at the end of September at Yarndale, I’ll be getting back to throwing now it’s got cooler, and should have a nice selection of yarn bowls as well as the spindle bowls.
It’s exciting to put together two loves of my life, textiles and ceramics.
Oh and the beautiful colours of the Corridale?
