Well after a rough and long year last year.  This year is being different.

I am spending more time with family, friends, and doing things I’ve not done for a while.

Trips to London to visit galleries and exhibitions, and days out to relax, and time to just get my life back a bit.

I have cleaned out my studio, and pug mill, and I’ve decided to work in porcelain for now.  To throw, and see what happens.

I’ve been researching some new glazes, and want to see what they look like.

Taking the time to find a new voice, and new pallet of colours and finding a new direction.

I have no idea where, or what will happen, but the consensus from various friends is that you have to let what you love doing dictate if you do events or not, and not let the events dictate what or how you work.

I may have swung totally away from what I was doing last year, and it seems like one extreme to the total other, but I feel it’s what I need to do.

Feeling happier, and looking forward to what happens.

  1. Oh my goodness, we are totally on the same page here.
It’s lovely that what we have been making has been selling well for us, but there comes a time when you have to re assess what you’re doing 😊

Following you now, won’t it be fun to see where our journeys take us 😊
